The Role: Growth Strategist (Paid Media)
We are looking for a senior Growth Strategist to build and lead our next pod to serve clients.
As a Growth Strategist, you will:
- ✅ Be the lead strategist and point of contact for ~10 startup clients.
- ✅ Own the end-to-end performance marketing strategy spanning paid media, creative and CRO
- ✅ Build and lead your own team. We believe every strategist should operate in their zone of genius, so you’ll have a big hand in shaping your team to complement your strengths.
- ✅ Go beyond paid media and be a true business partner to each client by helping them navigate growth forecasting, investor reporting, and budgeting—ensuring their paid acquisition strategy aligns with their business model and both short- and long-term goals.
Strategists should be the primary relationship builder with clients—not account managers who have little to no marketing experience.

Key Responsibilities
We're looking for someone who will enjoy owning:
1. Lead Growth Strategy for Clients
- Develop and execute full-funnel, hypothesis-based paid media strategies.
- Own key performance metrics—ROAS, CAC, LTV, and more—ensuring sustainable growth.
- Identify high-impact, low-cost paid media opportunities tailored to each startup.
2. Manage & Optimize Paid Media Channels
- Oversee paid media execution across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other high-potential platforms.
- Continuously test, iterate, and optimize campaign structures, audiences, bidding strategies, and ad creative.
- Build, maintain, and communicate a clear testing roadmap for each client.
- Set conversion tracking, attribution, and analytics dashboards to ensure accurate decision-making.
3. Lead Your Growth Pod
- Build and lead a team of specialists—including (but not limited to) a media buyer, creative strategist, designer, and VA—to execute your strategy in a way that best supports your strengths.
- Provide clear creative direction and lead brainstorming for ad concepts and testing roadmap.
- Guide media buyers to ensure execution is aligned with the strategy.
- Identify process and tooling improvements to level up your team.
4. Leverage AI & New Growth Tactics
- Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate AI-driven marketing tools into paid media growth strategies.
- Explore automation, predictive analytics, and AI-enhanced creative development.
- Constantly experiment with cutting-edge paid media strategies to drive better results.
5. Play a Key Role in Shaping the Agency
- As an early hire, help define best practices, operational workflows, and new service offerings.
- Contribute to internal hiring and training processes as we scale.
- Help shape the agency’s culture and future direction.

What We’re Looking For
- ✅ 5+ years in performance marketing, growth strategy, or paid media leadership. We want a leader, not just someone with ad manager proficiency.
- ✅ Deep expertise in multiple ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok are a must).
- ✅ Proven ability to drive results for startups or high-growth companies.
- ✅ Strong creative sensibility and taste—you don’t need to be a designer, but you should understand what makes great ads and great branding work.
- ✅ Proficiency with data and financial modeling—CAC, LTV, growth forecasting, payback, unit economics, etc.
- ✅ Experience setting up and validating tracking & attribution models.
- ✅ Ability to advise founders on growth strategy beyond just media buying.
- ✅ Conviction—we’re looking for people who are tired of subpar agency life and have some bold ideas on how to drive change.
- ✅ At least some hands-on experience (and a whole lot of curiosity) with AI-driven marketing tools.
Compensation
- Base salary: $120k-$150k
- Total compensation: $175k-200k
